By accessing or using OnlineTyping (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service. OnlineTyping provides typing tests, lessons, practice tools, and certificates designed to improve your typing speed and accuracy.

Our platform is built for fair practice and competition. Users are expected to maintain the integrity of typing metrics. Prohibited actions include:

• Using automated software, scripts, macros, or hardware modifications to inflate typing speed or accuracy.
• Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, or other security measures.
• Harassing or impersonating other users in shared modes such as the leaderboard.
• Misrepresenting test results for professional or institutional gain.
• Scraping the platform at volumes that interfere with normal operation.

All content provided on OnlineTyping — including the typing engine, scoring algorithms, practice texts, lesson curriculum, UI design, and brand assets — is the property of OnlineTyping or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal practice or authorized institutional training. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

User-submitted text (such as typed input) remains yours; we do not claim ownership of your keystrokes. We retain the right to use aggregate, anonymized performance statistics to improve the Service.

OnlineTyping offers a free tier and paid plans. By choosing a paid plan, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current payment information through our payment processor.
• Automatic renewal at the then-current rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Our refund policy, which offers a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for first-time premium subscribers.
• Sales tax, VAT, or GST where required by your jurisdiction, added at checkout.

Pricing for current plans is published on our pricing page. We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

Schools, companies, and recruiters using OnlineTyping for classroom training, employee development, or candidate assessment must hold a valid Institutional License.

• Institutional administrators are responsible for managing their sub-accounts.
• Certificates issued under institutional licenses remain valid for the period stated on the credential.
• OnlineTyping may audit institutional usage to verify compliance with per-seat agreements.
• For volume pricing or data-processing agreements, contact our institutional team via the institutional page.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnlineTyping is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service or notified via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
